Age Limit for LRDE-DRDO Recruitment 2024

  • Maximum Age: 28 years (as of the application closing date).
  • Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

For BE/B.Tech Holders:

  • A graduation degree in a professional course (BE/B.Tech) in the relevant discipline.
  • The candidate must have secured a first division and hold a valid GATE score.

For ME/M.Tech Holders:

  • A postgraduate degree (ME/M.Tech) in the relevant discipline.
  • The candidate must have secured a first division at both graduate and postgraduate levels.

Stipend

The selected candidates will receive:

  • Stipend Amount: ₹37,000 per month.
  • Additional Benefits: Admissible House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per DRDO norms.

Tenure of Fellowship

  • The initial tenure is for 2 years.
  • It may be extended for up to 4 years based on performance and provisions under DRDO’s research fellow scheme.

Selection Procedure

The committee will select candidates based on a walk-in interview. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview. Candidates must bring all necessary documents, both originals and photocopies, for verification.
